Injury is an unavoidable part of being an athlete.  Teaching someone how to tackle will most likely result in some bruises. While injury is part of sport, we never like to see our athletes get hurt.  Gilly has tweaked her back and will need our support.  Working back from injury is hard work let's wish Gilly good luck.

Congratulations to everyone who competed yesterday.  We had some amazing performances and are amazed by the effort put out.  Some athletes had to attempt a new PR to get the Rx'd weight.  Others pushed the limits and got nearly 30 rounds.  Week 3 may be the toughest workout yet.  Good Luck to everyone competing on Saturday.

This workout may be heavy for some of you. Don't worry, we will make sure that everyone will compete and be judged.  Scaling is an option for those athletes not moving on to Regionals.  Your score can be logged and tracked.

The weather has been exceptionally nice lately and the energy around the gym has been electric.  Athletes are on pins and needles watching results and anticipating new workouts.  Let's make sure to rest and relax, if you get the chance to take a break and get some sun do it.  Six weeks is a long time to be in competition mode and we are only as good as our rest.

Then within the next 90 seconds find your 1 rep shoulder to overhead.
