Break it Down

Virtuosity is defined as doing the common uncommonly well. It is that thing you see when you watch a group of people moving that draws your attention back in a positive way to that athlete, be it dance, acrobatics, gymnastics, basketball, parkor or CrossFit. When you see something done well it is hard not to want to watch it again in awe. Athletes with good technique are fun to watch. The best way to get good technique is to learn and re-learn and break the parts down and relearn again. Trying to never be satisfied with your mechanics and always re-address them will help you continue towards virtuosity.

Why do we care about virtuosity? Because it is the safest, most effective, and most efficient way to move as well as the safest, most effective and most efficient way to continue to get more fit for the longest period of time.
