The CrossFit methodology speak to the importance of having a "balance of lifestyle" approach when thinking about our health and fitness.  This means that the things we do outside of the gym will affect our performance as much as the work we do inside the gym.  Nutrition, Sleep, Stress...everything needs to be considered and managed.  How is your balance?

During a CrossFit competition the role of a judge is to verify that and athlete meets or exceeds the standards set out. Being a good judge is about being impartial and using a clear loud voice.  Cheering and motivating should be left to the spectators.

60 Bar-facing burpees
120 pound Overhead squat, 30 reps
10 Muscle-ups

The double under is a fantastic conditioning tool.  It is also a great tool for practicing triple extension.  Karla shows what your body should look like when leaving the floor in the double under.  Using simple movements like this to get better at body control will set you up for better outcomes on complicated movements like the Clean & Jerk and Snatch.
