So far over 50 athletes have completed the CrossFit Open workout #1 as Rx'd. We are very proud to have so many of you join the competition and participate in this worldwide event.  We are going to be running the event all morning again today.  It is a tremendous accomplishment individually for everyone who is competing as well as for our little community as a whole. We encourage all of you who completed the workout as Rx'd with a judge to sign up on the CrossFit Games website and log your score. To have you score count, you need to register, join the team and then log your scores before next Sunday March 27th.  Keep up the strong work and thanks for representing team CFSC. This is an incredible thing to be a part of.

Men and Masters Men 45-49, 50-54: 75lbs/35kg

Masters Men 55-59, 60+: 65lbs/30kg
Masters Women 55-59, 60+: 45lbs/20kg

On Wednesday we ran a bunch of athletes through the first workout of the CrossFit Open.  We will be running it again on Saturday for anyone who has yet to compete.  We would like to encourage anyone who want to try and complete the workout as Rx'd to do so.

Come Together

For the next six weeks we will be paying close attention to the CrossFit Open, On Tuesday nights until the middle of April we will get a workout from CrossFit.com and complete it with over 13,000 other athletes. It is an incredible opportunity to participate in a grass roots fitness revolution on a global scale. And all we have to do is show up and do our best. Sure it is a competition to find the fittest people on the planet (and we are hoping we have some of them right here in our gym) but it is also a lot bigger than that.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays we will run the workout in the gym. If you need to scale that is just fine, you may still participate. We will be varying scores and times and will need judges and spectators to make things legit and more fun.

Wednesdays at 11:00 many of the athletes vying for spots on our affiliate team and some of our hopefuls for individual spots will be completing the workouts. We are encouraging as many members of the gym and the Open team to try to come in between 10 and 1 pm to cheer, compete and judge.

For those of you who are unable to make it on Wednesdays we will do it all again on Saturdays from 9-11am. We encourage people who already competed on Wednesday as well as all other members to come hangout, compete, judge, cheer, and celebrate with us on Saturday mornings.
