The ring row is a great pulling exercise. It can help develop body awareness as well as work shoulder mechanics and mid-line strength. If you have any trouble understanding how to hold your belly tight or retract the shoulders when you pull ring rows can help a ton. The are the mirror opposite of a push up and we all know how awesome those are.
