The CrossFit Open begins next week and we are very excited. This year we will hold a gym wide competition day on Saturdays starting at 9am for the five weeks of The Open. All athletes from our gym who have signed up will be given a heat time for Saturday morning and will be expected to be there, on-time and ready to workout at their assigned time. Saturday morning will have the structure of a competition rather than a training session. We encourage all of our members to sign up, get fired up, and come ready to cheer each other on and have a good time.
Anyone interested ought to compete regardless of age, skill level or any other excues you can think of. The Open is just that, Open... to everyone. The fun starts next Wednesday at 5pm when we find out what the workout for Week 1 will be!
NOTE: In order for us to know that you are competing you must REGISTER and then join the CrossFit Santa Cruz team. First create an account (free), then register for the Open ($20), then select CrossFit Santa Cruz as your team (free).
