We like to consider everyone that trains at CrossFit Santa Cruz as an athlete. We believe that being an athlete is more a state of mind than a level of accomplishment. Being an athlete means that you care about what you are doing. It means that you have a reason to train and a purpose for getting better.

Workout:
Ten rounds of:
1 Weighted pull-up, 50 pound dumbbell
3 Strict pull-ups
5 Kipping pull-ups
Each round should be completed unbroken. If you drop off the bar, restart from the beginning of the round. If you can, wear a weight vest.
