The double under is a skill that takes coordination, and composure. Timing your jump and your hand speed are critical. Keeping good posture is paramount. Duffy is jumping tall with straight legs and a tight mid-line. When in the air he uses his wrists to get the rope to go around twice. Practicing the double under can help you make great strides with the skill but mastering the correct posture will help more.

Almost every single one of our members has now attended a class where you have had your reps counted and judged. How does it change the way you feel about the workout and how was your performance affected? What was it like to be a judge?

Today is your last chance to sign up for the Open and log your scores. If you completed the snatch/double under workout with a judge and wrote your score on the white board you are eligible to compete week one, so do it!

Amanda represents the first time a workout has been named in honor of a Games athlete and gives CrossFitters around the world a chance to pay tribute to a great competitor who was taken far too soon. The first WOD of the 2010 CrossFit Games was also dedicated to Miller.
