The gym is all a buzz with talk of, practice, preparation, and excitement about this Saturday's competition. We are planning on it being a great community event and fun throwdown. The original thought behind the Affiliate Cup was to give local athletes the opportunity to do a team competition like the one at the CrossFit Games. Annie Sakamoto campaigned and we all jumped on board. There are now eight CrossFit affiliates in Santa Cruz County and all will be represented on Saturday. The competition will be fierce, but the intention is to celebrate the power of a CrossFit community and give our athletes a chance to play.
